Attending the Math and Writing Center is the best way to overcome difficulties during studies. Whenever there are difficulties in understanding a subject or a topic, the MWC is the second best place to go to after the professor. I find the consultations to be highly effective, especially the math ones. This might be due to the consultant, as she is very patient, answers all the questions that she is asked, and keeps explaining the topic until everything is clear. Personally, I attended the math consultations not only for questions related to my courses, but also any questions I had for more deeply understanding the areas I was interested in. So, I highly recommend AUA students and not only freshmen to attend this Center as it can be very efficient if you try.
